All around the world, people are applauding one woman’s bravery and authenticity. And that woman is none other than the gorgeous gal you know from the Sun-Maid Raisins logo. That’s right, folks. Jennifer Raisin, aka the beautiful raisin woman, has come out as bisexual.
We caught up with everyone’s favorite grape lady and dove into her decision to come out via Instagram story: “On some level, I always knew. I wasn’t hiding it. This is just part of who I am. And I thought it might mean a lot to people if I shared my truth. And my truth is, I don’t have a gender preference in terms of dating or sex. I’m bisexual, and also I love raisins.” Yas, queen!
“People have been so supportive,” Jessica gushed. “The Raisin Bran logo DM’d me and told me he was straight but enjoyed threesomes of any kind. This is the kind of bravery I want to encourage.”
When asked if there were any special someones in her life, Jessica just smiled and adjusted the enormous bushel of green grapes that she’s literally always holding. “I may be seeing someone. But it’s new. I don’t want to ruin it. Okay, it’s the main raisin from the California Raisins logo. We are dating. The sex is insane. I literally can’t even get into it.”
There’s no shying away from the fact that Jessica’s future is as bright as the sun that dries out all those delicious grapes. We asked if she had any upcoming projects in the works.
“I’m working on an LGBTQ-friendly line of raisins called the Love is Love Raisins. The thing that makes them LGBTQ-friendly is I listen to Chromatica or look at pictures of women on my phone when I harvest them. They’re gonna be so good.”
We asked if there’s anything she doesn’t like about the spotlight. “It’s hard being the first openly bisexual logo sometimes, but I know I’m just paving the way. I’m a trailblazer. And I’m so excited to share my gay raisins with the world.”
