Ugh I’m So Busy, Says Friend Who Has Seen Every Episode of The Bachelorette

Corinne Harris can barely find the time to RSVP to Friendsgiving, let alone attend. Her life is just so crazy with her full-time job, regimented workout schedule, taking care of two dogs and staying current on the news. Corinne is also the only friend in the friend group who has seen every single hour of Bachelor-franchise programming, an unwavering standing appointment she has with herself.

“Corinne has been pretty MIA recently,” said friend Nikita, who tries to be understanding of Corinne’s other obligations (see: Bachelor consumption).

“I just wish she could find some time to hang with us instead of those boring 23-year-olds on TV who are all somehow from Ft. Lauderdale. What is with that show’s casting process?” she added.

This year alone (during which Corinne has bailed on helping her coworker move, attending her boss’s baby shower and supporting her best friend through a breakup), she has stayed current on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. Corinne has also ingested hours worth of supplementary interviews on YouTube. Corinne is even thinking of starting her own Bachelor podcast, because she “could probably do it better.”

To Corinne’s credit, despite the fact that she is “so slammed,” she does make time for her friends, when it comes in the form of a Bachelor watching party. At such events, Corinne is known for saying things like “Please stop talking” and “If you don’t pay attention I’m going to have to ask you to leave.” Wow! Forcing her peers to participate in her activity and policing the way they do it? Some women really can do it all!

“If only there were more hours in the day!” says Corinne.

Her friends can only guess that the implied end of that sentence is that Corinne would use said additional hours to chug down some other reality show.
